Contractor College is always interested in hearing from individuals willing to providing educational services to PDCA’s members.  If you or someone you know would be interested in consideration as a Contractor College instructor please contact contractorcollege@pdca.org.

Is your PDCA group holding an educational event?  Would you like to offer Contractor College credit?  Course credit approval requests can be submitted online.  Requests for credit should be submitted no later than 30 days prior to the event.

PDCA.org’s Find-A-Pro directory now highlights Accredited companies by listing them first in all search results and by displaying the Accreditation seal next to the company name.

Companies enrolled in the Accreditation program often find it difficult to take time out of their busy business schedule to complete the requirements of the program.  At PACE 2009 Contractor College introduced the first ever Accelerated Accreditation program.  This event allowed convention attendees to complete education sufficient for meeting the Accreditation requirements while at the convention.  By combining a pre-convention 1/2 day of training with the program already being offered during the convention more than 30 companies were able to finish their educational requirements in days.  Submission of their business documentation is all that remains for achieving Accreditation.  As an additional benefit, the cost of the additional half day program was an incredible value overall compared to taking each course individually.  Contractor College is planning similar events in the future and at PACE 2010 in Phoenix, Arizona (www.pace2010.com).

PDCA’s Contractor College highlighted Accredited companies at a special breakfast during PDCA 2009 in New Orleans.  This invitation only event was a great opportunity for Accredited company staff to meet and discuss their participation in the program as well as the benefits of being Accredited.  A similar activity will be scheduled for PACE 2010 in Phoenix, Arizona.
